Several major recycling campaigns are encouraging households to recycle their rubbish in Western Europe with selective household refuse collection in Belgium, Plastic Heroes in The Netherlands and Recycle Now in the UK to name but a few. However, the industrial sector is also making its own contribution to a sustainable policy of waste management through a whole variety of different processing methods.
